Men give the right thumb, women the left. In person it is pressed on paper; online, you send a clear photo on WhatsApp. That is the only thing we take from you.
No details, ever
We do not ask your name, date of birth, birth star, parents' names or anything about your life before the search. A reader who asks is not reading a leaf.
The bundles are searched
Your thumb pattern belongs to a family of leaves. Guruji brings those bundles and reads each leaf's statements aloud, one by one.
You answer only yes or no
"Are you the eldest child?" "Is your father's name of three letters?" Every wrong answer closes that leaf. Your name, your parents' names, your work — they come out of the leaf, never from you.
Your leaf is found, or it is not
When every statement on a leaf is true, it is yours, and the reading begins from the General Kandam. If it is not found, the sitting ends there and nothing is charged.
How to tell an authentic Nadi reader from a fake one
Vaitheeswaran Koil has many readers, and so does every city with a Tamil community. Most people who call Nadi astrology a fraud met a fake. These are the rules Guruji asks every visitor to hold him to — and to hold anyone else to.
- Authentic
Takes the thumb impression and nothing else. Asks only yes or no. Tells you your own name and your parents' names from the leaf before you have said them.
- Warning sign
Asks for your date of birth, birth star, name or "a few details to find the leaf faster". Details you give are details that can be read back to you.
- Authentic
No leaf found means no fee. Fees for each kandam are told plainly before the reading, and you pay after your leaf is confirmed.

Charges for the search itself, pushes "one more bundle" for a fee, or turns every reading into an expensive pooja or remedy package.
- Authentic
Happy for you to contact from a number that is not linked to your name, and to say nothing about yourself. The leaf speaks; you listen.

Claims to be "the only genuine", "world famous" or "100% accurate". Fakes exist in Vaitheeswaran Koil itself and in every country where Tamils live.

Guruji Thiruvalluvan Subburayan
Chief Siva Sukshma Nadi Astrologer of Sri Kousiha Agasthiya Mahasiva Sukshma Nadi, Vaitheeswaran Koil. His family has kept and read these leaves for four generations; the bundles in the reading room were gathered by his ancestors from across Tamil Nadu.
He reads the Agasthiya, Kousiha and Siva Sukshma Nadi leaves in Tamil, and readings are translated into English, Malayalam and Hindi. He does not advertise, does not promise, and does not ask you anything before the leaf is found.

Every kandam has a fixed fee that is told to you on WhatsApp before you decide. You pay only after your leaf is found and your details are confirmed from it. There is no charge for a search that finds nothing.
